Our Story

Don Moore Insurance Services started with Don Moore’s own experience on the other side of the table. After years spent farming and struggling to make it pay, Don was approached by another insurance agency and saw a different path. That firsthand understanding of what it means to run a small operation on tight margins still shapes how Don Moore Insurance Services treats every client who walks through the door today.

Big box insurance companies and online only providers are built around call centers and standardized policies. Don Moore Insurance Services takes the opposite approach. Every client works directly with an agent, in person or by phone, who takes the time to understand their actual risk instead of routing them through a script. That means personal, one on one service for any insurance need, personal or business, with a focus on making sure nothing in a client’s coverage is left exposed.

Our Agency

Don Moore Insurance Services is based in Canyon, Texas and serves clients throughout the greater Amarillo, Texas Panhandle area. The agency’s core lines include home, auto, recreational coverage for boats and RVs, farm and ranch, commercial, and bonds, along with general liability, contractors, renters, workers’ compensation, commercial auto, and motorcycle coverage. Whether a client needs a single home policy or a full commercial package for a growing business, Don Moore Insurance Services builds coverage around the client, not the other way around.
